About us
Here is a brief history, and apologies if it sounds really geeky
Our main bod here has been working with Apple products since the yonder days of the Apple IIe. For those who do not know this machine, it was beige, had a slot for 5.25 floppy disks and had a green flashing curser when you switched it on. Yes, it really was that long ago!

So on these machines you had to write programmes, generally spreadsheets and simple Cobal games. During this training there was a lot of electronics involved, like making circuit boards and playing with switches... all good foundations.

Now in the modern age this foundation means we really understand what is happening with the Apple product, what all those noises mean and, thankfully, where things can go wrong and how they can be fixed.

Our ethos is to help Mac users gain the best from these lovely machines by supporting them wherever we can. We recognise that because Macs are so well built that not a lot goes wrong with them and that there are not many places where you can get support in this area.

Instead of purchasing an expensive support package as an insurance against the unlikely from happening we thought that would be more cost effective if you paid for repair and support when they actually do go wrong (which is quite rare).

We have repaired all sorts of parts and machines. The first thing that normally fails on a Mac is the hard drive - this is because it works so hard at making everything look beautiful. The next trouble they have is usually in the system software and generally this is also linked to a failing hard drive. Other than that Macs are really very good machines: stable, fast, beautiful and reliable... oh, and virus free. Great news.

We hope you find the service we provide both useful and value for money and welcome any feedback you may want to give us. Please read our testimonials page for others' experience.
